Three actresses are needed for upcoming low budget slasher film being filmed in and around Martinsburg. Characters: Lucy: Young goth/emo/punk girl, Main character,looking for someone 18-25 or older as long as you can look like you just graduated. Susan and Nicole: Best friends, very popular, always harrasing Lucy, the stereotypical cheerleader type/Very attractive and love knowing it and using it to make jokes of guys. No pay but a great chance to have fun and meet new people, plus get a copy on DVD when completed. BUT WHY BUMP OFF BARNABY?
SEPT. 11 (2-4) & SEPT. 12 (6-8): The Apollo Civic Theatre will hold auditions for the mystery/farce "But Why Bump Off Barnaby?" Auditionees will read scenes from the script. WHITE CHRISTMAS
SEPT. 11 (3-5:30) & SEPT. 12 (6-9): Old Opera House in Charles Town will hold auditions for the musical "White Christmas." Roles are available for actors, dancers and singers age 16+. Those wishing to audition should prepare a Broadway-style show tune to sing and come in comfortable clothing that allows you to dance. If you happen to have tap shoes, please bring them. LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL
OCT. 2 (2:00) & OCT. 4 (7pm): The Apollo Civic Theatre in Martinsburg will hold auditions for "Little Women: The Musical." Callbacks to be held Oct. 6th from 7-9:30pm. Please prepare at least 16 bars of a song and wear comfortable clothes for dancing. The audition will also consist of cold readings from the script. The show covers approximately 4 years and the actors/actresses must be able to portray the full range from childhood to adult.
